03.04.2010 / It's Tournament Time! Posting by Anthony Tolliver, Former CU Player and Current Player for the Golden State Warriors (NBA)

Hey Creighton NATION! It is Missouri Valley Tournament time! Always such an exciting part of the year.

"Hopefully the Jays can continue to play well and get a conference championship."

Hopefully the Jays can continue to play well and get a conference championship. I want to be able to put Creighton into the final 4 on paper like I always do when we make the NCAA tournament (a man can dream right?).

I remember playing in the MVC tournament – it was such a rush. And winning it? One of the best feelings in the world (especially when we beat Southern Illinois my senior year). I hope that the guys just go down to St. Louis and represent CU in a good way. Win or lose, I just want them to play hard.

Speaking of playing hard, doing that has opened many doors for me. Currently I am playing with the Golden State Warriors. It is crazy how quickly everything has come together for me. I always thought that I could make it, but making it this soon and getting to play a lot (and start some) is such a blessing. Thanks to everyone who has supported the Jays and I over the years.

Wish I could be in STL this weekend but I kind of have some obligations (a.k.a. playing against the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Bobcats).

Best of luck to the Jays.

Til’ next time.... A-Train

What do you think the score will be? Do you think the Jays can get a conference championship? Post your comment now.
