07.29.2011 / Tee it up! The Cox Classic is here.

It is that time of year again! For the 16th year in a row, the pros of the Nationwide Tour will stop in Omaha the week of August 1 through 7, 2011 for the Cox Classic. First National Bank is again a proud sponsor of the Cox Classic, and we are hosting the Pro Am again this year on Wednesday, August 3rd.

For over fifteen years, the Cox Classic has generated excitement all around Omaha – drawing crowds to watch the tournament at Champions Run, participate in Family Fun Day or going to the 19th Hole Party.  The event is city wide, and generates excitement all around town.  If you want to check out a schedule, or are looking for events to go www.coxclassic.com/schedule.aspx for the schedule.

This year’s player lineup is looking pretty exciting, and we can’t wait to see what the players bring to the green this year.  Of course, the Cox Classic isn’t just fun and games – it’s also an impressive charity, donating over $1.7 million for over 12 local charities and non-profits throughout Omaha since its inception in 1996.
