03.14.2011 / The Omaha Community Playhouse Hosts Nunsense
There have been some transformations occurring at the Omaha Community Playhouse these days. What used to be the Howard and Rhonda Hawks Mainstage, which often showcases colorful costumes and mixed gender casts, is now the Mount Saint Helens School auditorium featuring an all-female cast donning only black and white with a couple colorful odds and ends.
The show is about a fundraiser put on by “The Little Sisters of Hoboken” to raise money to bury sisters who were accidently poisoned by the convent cook-Sister Julia (Child of God). A hail of fun and frolic. Wacky and outrageous with a hysterical anything goes sense of craziness; Nunsense is filled with lots of good music to lift your spirits.
Nunsense will run at the Omaha Community Playhouse March 4–April 3, 2011. For tickets call the Playhouse Box Office at (402)553-0800 or order tickets online at www.OmahaPlayhouse.org or www.TicketOmaha.com.
